Acting at the root to change the system

podcast

A shared ambition: to make the notion of “systemic change” accessible and to help the philanthropic sector evolve its practices so as to strengthen its ability to contribute more effectively to the profound transformations taking place in our society.

Alongside various players in the philanthropy, social innovation and research ecosystems, ESSEC, and in particular its Philanthropy Chaire took part in the launch of the Agir à la racine project, a platform designed to contribute to a real sectoral dynamic, with the aim of fostering a genuine culture of systemic change among change agents and their ecosystems.

The anti-guide to systemic change

We hear a lot about Systemic Change. But what does it actually mean? How can associations contribute to Systemic Change? More generally, how can we better decipher the systemic mechanisms that perpetuate social problems, in order to reinforce the power and relevance of the action of associations?

The anti-guide de l’Approche Systémique is the fruit of a year and a half’s action-research into how associations can usefully adopt the tools, concepts and philosophy of systems thinking. It suggests ways in which associations can better understand the “systems” that make social problems so persistent, and help them to act on them.

La tribune Fonda n°257: Associations and foundations facing systemic change

In March 2023, Fonda joins forces with the Fondation de France for a special issue on associations and foundations in the face of systemic change.

La Tribune Fonda n° 257 looks at the notion of systemic change, how this perspective redefines the actions of associations and foundations alike, and how philanthropy is reinventing itself in favor of greater cooperation.
